Fighting Fantasy: Dungeon on Blood Island - Book Illustration

In this piece, I explored a classic fantasy trope: the dragon's lair. I used a foreground framing technique with dark silhouettes to pull the viewer into the cave, creating a sense of being trapped with the beast. The focus was on the contrast between the cold, blueish ambient light of the dungeon and the intense, warm glow of the dragon's fire breath.
In the composition i focused on a cinematic POV, using foreground elements as a frame to enhance the sense of scale and danger.
